In 2003, Dr. Glen Charles, D.O. of Boca Raton, Florida completed a 10-subject clinical study on the effects of hair loss and post surgery healing with hair treatment. He concluded that the mean hair count of the test subjects increased 55.4% at the six-month period of treatment. Subjects experienced as much as a 96% hair count increase. Additionally, he concluded that patients experienced reduced shock loss (telogen effluvium) of transplanted hair as well as reduced loss of existing hair growth. The majority of patients also experienced a significant reduction in postoperative redness, derived from surgery.

An independent 2003 study on photobiostimulation published in the “International Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology” states that hair count in men increased up to 93.5% on average and hair tensile (strength) increased 78.9% while being treated with low level laser therapy.

David Kingley, PhD who specializes in hair loss, recommends the laser comb to his clients facing male pattern baldness, female hair loss and an autoimmune condition called alopecia areata.
